Under 5’10 Pace Joggers Review
The newest piece of active wear made for the rest of us.
Under 5’10 Pace Joggers Review Introduction
Under 5'10 doesn’t rest on its laurels. As a growing brand, they have branched out to both standard everyday clothing, as well as the athleisure market. So think - performance stretch pants but also joggers and running gear. Essentials for the most part, nothing too crazy.
Today, we’re going to be looking at their Pace Joggers. Their newest iteration of the popular type of pants that they released this past spring. Now I’ll be up front - I’m not a huge joggers guy. I will wear them around the house but I’m more of a “pants” guy when I’m out and about, or traveling. That said, I dig this brand and own quite a lot of their stuff so I thought it was worth reviewing.
This is my review of the Under 5'10 Pace Joggers pants. I’ve got two different sizes so I’ll be able to give a comparison for those interested which I think is always helpful. NYC has been hotter than Kuala Lumpur lately (that’s not hyperbole; I looked, and confirmed, much to my chagrin; this is…not good haha), so I’ve not worn them a lot out in the city. I have been wearing them around my condo with the AC blasting however and using them as lounge pants.
As always for full transparency, Under 5’10 did ask me if I wanted to review a pair and sent them over. That said, this is not sponsored, and I was not paid for writing this review. I do use affiliate links which help to support the site if you decide to use them to make a purchase, but you’re under no obligation to do so and there’s no additional cost to you. Pace Joggers Overview
Perfect for impromptu website photos.
I will say they are attempting to put these a little above the standard sweatpants type joggers, so let’s see what they’ve got on the feature set.
They don’t get into detail, but they say they are made from an exclusive performance material. This features all the table stakes which is good to see - stretch, lightweight, and quick dry.
Another thing to note about the fabric is that it’s wrinkle resistant. That’s a lot different than sweatpants material.
They are looking to help with durability, and with that added a gusset in the crotch that helps with movement, while also adding “double tracked” stitching on the seams. This helps with durability.
Additional features to call out are the elastic at both the waistband and ankles, slanted front pockets, and a drawstring.
On the travel friendly side, you’ve got a discreet zippered pocket on the front left, as well as a zippered back right pocket. For me, to consider pants “travel worthy” these need to exist in some combination. Even if only the back pocket.
Materials:
53% Elastomultiester 47% Polyester
I do want to touch on that “elastomultiester" fabric. While I’m sure this isn’t exactly brand new, it’s new to me. So here’s why it may be good. This fabric is stretchy by its very nature - it doesn’t require an additional fabric like spandex to make it stretchy or to be woven into it. So, that allows it to stretch and recover on its own, but also means it’s going to maintain more breathability and moisture management because there won’t be an additional bit of weave in there that doesn’t help those things. Learn something new, eh?
They retail for $67.00 USD list price as of August 2025 - but they often run sales on most of their stuff and you can get these for $55.00 or lower when they have blowouts to manage inventory. That said - be careful. Us short folks are rabid, and a lot of sizes can sell out if you’re just trying to game the timing. They come in a good variety of colors with Black, Gray, Taupe, Navy, Olive, and Stone. I have the Olive and a larger size in the Taupe for comparison on size.
The Fit of the Under 5’10 Pace Joggers
Considering these are designed for shorter people, these are going to be proportioned much better than a lot of other off-the-rack pieces when it comes to shorter legs. A lot of standard joggers come with 28-30 length on most sizes. With Under 5’10 you can go down to 25” length. For joggers, that’s fantastic because they aren’t supposed to be baggy. That’s not the vibe and that just contributes to making us look sloppy.
There’s a good taper on the pants, too. Something I’d expect on joggers but also something I’d expect to keep pants with a clean cut look.
Here you can see a shot showing the fit while out and about, plus some comparisons. The lighter color Taupe is a 30x27. The Olive is a 30x25 and is the pair I’m wearing around…and while writing this to be honest. I prefer pants on the slimmer side and therefore prefer the 25 in inseam. The second set is the 27in. You can see that with an additional two inches of inseam, both the length and the fit of the pattern changes. I mean this is normal - that’s what changing sizes does. I’m just highlighting that.
My only note on the joggers is that I personally wouldn’t mind a little less fabric/room in the seat and thigh - but let’s be honest this is all based on body type. Maybe this is the point in my life where I’m finally forced to accept I have an empty trunk, my milkshake isn’t bringing anyone anywhere, and I’m much more about treble. Sigh.

The Good
Return of the mac…ro.
They’ve done a good job with the quality of this fabric. I do think it feels better than some comparably priced options I’ve tried, but also I think this fabric is a step up from anything they were using a couple of years ago. I think that’s something you want to see from a brand.
Like most pants from Under 5’10, I’m into the fit. That’s the NUMBER ONE thing for me in pants, travel features/tech fabric be damned. I’d love those things, but first off I want to look good and I’m on a quest to always have proper fitting pants I don’t have to hem. These fit the bill and that’s the ethos of the brand, obviously.
The waistband and ankle cuffs feel particularly nice in the hand and on the skin, you can tell those are good quality.
I am a travel site afterall, and as I noted earlier I really like that they added the zippered pockets. Now practically speaking, around town, those are going to be good to keep your wallet obvs, but the small one in the side is a good spot for a keycard or credit card if you’re going to the gym, etc. While traveling, these are ideal for a credit card or cash and that’s really going to prevent any slick pick-pockets on Las Ramblas in Barcelona from confusing you with their delicious empanadas for sale while his buddy separates you from your Nordès gin money. Now being up front, for god’s sake get off Las Ramblas and go somewhere like Calle Blai or further up in Gracia. But you get what I’m saying. A zippered back pocket is good for the passport around the airport, or of course your wallet while at your destination. I like to see this stuff.
The additional touches like gussets and extra stitching show they are starting to really focus on little points that increase quality, which is also good to see. You want a brand to be noticing those things and looking to always improve any way they can.
The color options are great - they’ve got any you’d need and some really good ones if you’re into capsule dressing. (Something particularly good for travel).
The details on the joggers like the slanted pockets or seams of the pockets - thought they looked good. Can’t really “spruce” up joggers too much but these details do elevate them from, again, the sweatpants versions you see kicking around. I’m always a fan of making things that can be casual but also not make you look like a slob. I’m past my slob phase and unless you’re a student you should be, too! (I gotchu Students - live your slob life while you can. You deserve it. Wear those sweats to class and you'll get no judgement from me.)
Another travel friendly point is that they are wrinkle resistant. Nothing is wrinkle proof - get that out of your head now unless you’re making pants/shirts out of the material recovered in the Roswell crash in 1947. But having resistant fabric is always a win if you’re going to have them packed for any significant amount of time.
Practically speaking, the slanted pockets work well in looks and in use.

The Bad
Lots of things to like, but nothing can be perfect in this world. Sorry Under 5’10.
This is personal preference and depending on your use case, might not be a thing for you. But I’m always a fan of a zipper and a snap. Just me. Now, these are joggers. And many folks will be exercising or at the very least heading to the gym and changing, so I get it. But I have a site, and I get to make my point, LOL. So if I’d change something, it would be the drawstring closure for sure.
The cuff on the leg can sometimes lose it’s orientation. Not sure how to say it, but I had to adjust it or pull it down a few times (like the structure INSIDE needed to be adjusted). Not the end of the world but something to think about for the brand in upcoming iterations.

Final Thoughts On My Under 5’10 Pace Joggers Review
There we go, the review of the Pace Joggers from Under 5’10. From a quality perspective, these are a good option to try. Good pockets as well for various use cases whether that’s gym or travel.
And ultimately, as a 5’6” guy - they’re made for people like us. I harp on that so much in the reviews I’ve made for this brand, but it’s just so important from a confidence standpoint. Looking the way you want to in your head when you imagine putting on your clothes, having proper fits without having to go to a tailor, it’s just so valuable for your peace of mind and how you show yourself to the world.
These joggers continue that trend.
So if you’re into joggers, and have been looking for a solid pair that you don’t have to roll/cuff at the ankle - look into the Pace Joggers from Under 5’10. They are worth considering if you’re in the market for a new pair.
You can only get them direct, so head on over and check them out and see if they are right for you, too.
